Launched in 2013, World Ski Awards aim is to drive up standards within the ski industry by rewarding the organisations that are leaders in their field. In this year`s 3rd edition of the World Ski Awards Borovets has 7 nominees.The nominees are in 4 categories: Bulgaria`s Best Ski Resort 2015, Bulgaria`s Best Ski Hotel 2015, Bulgaria`s Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2015, Bulgaria`s Best Ski Chalet 2015. Online voting for the 2015 World Ski Awards opened on 5th June and will close on 25th September 2015. In this year`s competition will participate 24 countries and the winners will be presented during the official award ceremony that will take place over the weekend of 20th-22nd November at the A-ROSA Kitzbühel, overlooking the legendary Hanhnenkamm.In the Bulgaria`s Best Ski Resort 2015 category, which is the most important one Borovets will compete for the leadership with Bansko, Pamporovo and Vitosha.For Bulgaria`s Best Hotel of the year Festa and Yastrebetz situated in Borovets are accompanied by Kempinski Hotel Grand Arena, which is a two-time winner of the Award, Lucky Bansko and Premier Luxury Mountain Resort, all of them from Bansko, as well Orlovetz, Pamporovo.Hotel Alpin, a winner of 2014 Awards, Club Hotel Yanakiev and Ice Angels are the representatives of Borovets in the category Bulgaria`s Best Ski Boutique Hotel 2015.
