A lot of summer adventures and endless fun in Borovets

After one very successful winter season, Borovets is getting ready for the upcoming summer. The first day of summer season 2019 will be on 15th of June.

This summer Borovets Mountain Bike Park will welcome all bikers with a variety of new elements and variations of the trails, perfect for both advanced bikers and learners. This year the famous downhill trail Scary Movie is back. The legendary trail will challenge the most skilled bikers to show their best.  

This year one of the biggest summer attractions in the resort – rope town Boroland will welcome the Resort’s guests with renovated and upgraded elements.  And for those in a search of real adventures, the Borovets Climbing and Mountaineering team has to offer variety of rock-climbing and mountaineering activities.  

The professional mountain guides from “Borosport” are ready to reveal the secrets of Rila mountain during the hiking tours to some of the most beautiful parts of the mountain.  

For summer season 2019 the two-way ticket for gondola lift “Yastrebet” or lift “Sitnyakovo Express” will cost 15 BGN for adults and 6 BGN for children from 7 to 14 years old. The price for the daily lift pass for mountain biking will be 30 BGN and the pass for two days will cost 50 BGN.

This summer the seasonal pass for mountain biking will be 450 BGN.

“The magic of Rila mountain” 2019

The national festival in Borovets starts from 06 July 2019 to 07 July 2019

The national festival “The Magic of Rila mountain” is one of the biggest summer events in Borovets and the region of Samokov. This year “The magic of Rila mountain” will be on 6th and 7th of July and will gather together many people who admire and protect the Bulgarian culture and traditions.

As every year, during “The magic of Rila mountain” dancers and traditional musicians will perform, artisans and herbalists will share their experience, Bulgarian painters and sculptors will show their masterpieces. During the festival many unprofessional dancers will take part in the dance competition for traditional Bulgarian dances on the stage.
